ABSTRACT:
This paper attempts to explore the skills set essential for sustainable employability of young graduates in India. Most of the colleges in India, young scholars are from mixed social, academic upbringings from distinct places speaking different dialects. Hence, it is very much essential to create a common platform which will enable them to be proficient to face today’srapidly changing and challenging world of corporate in the 21st century era. It is English language only, a lingua franca of the world, which can exterminate the variances in languages amongst all and becomes a common medium of communication. Besides effective communication in English, which is utmost important for success in any sphere, the soft skills such as time management, presentation skills, team management or team handling, positive approach, self-confidence, are very important in job seeking process and for effective sustainability of young graduates in the today’s toughest competition of the corporate.
